At Local Roots August 3-6

Starting next Monday, Local Roots Market and Cafe will be open SIX days a week! And yes, I plan to be baking and supplying both market and cafe each of those days.

Here's what you'll find on my shelves at Local Roots Market this week:

--Artisan wheat bread
--Cheese crackers (pepper jack)
--Cheese-herb artisan bread: cheddar-dill, chèvre-rosemary, feta-oregano, Ludlow with basil
--Cinnamon-pecan bread
--Garlic-herb bread
--Garlic pesto flatbread
--Honey spelt oat bread
--Hot dog/brat buns
--Light rye bread
--Maple oatmeal bread
--Pain aux noix
--Pizza crusts
--Sandwich buns
--Sesame thins
--Shortcakes
--Spelt bread
--Tea rings and pecan rings
--Whole wheat pita
--Zaatar flatbread

In the bakery case, I'll have only one type of vegetable roll:

--Spicy pac choi is back! with homegrown pac choi and garlic, Adonai Acres onion, and a spicy Asian-style peanut sauce with natural peanut butter from Sherry's Classic Cuisine.

In addition, you'll find fresh almond croissants in the bakery case each day (until the dough runs out)! Sweet, but not too cloying, these flaky pastries feature local butter, milk, eggs, and a touch of maple sugar. SO good!

See you at the market!
