At Local Roots August 8-13

Local Roots Market and Cafe is now open SIX days a week! And that means I am up waaaaay early, baking every day just for you!

Here's what you'll find on my shelves at Local Roots Market this week:

--Artisan wheat bread
--Baguettes (plain and garlic herb -- planned!)
--Cheese crackers (pepper jack)
--Cheese-herb artisan bread: cheddar-basil, cheddar-dill, chèvre-rosemary, feta-oregano, Ludlow with basil, Miami Erie Canal with parsley
--Cinnamon-pecan bread
--Garlic-herb bread
--Garlic pesto flatbread
--Honey spelt oat bread
--Hot dog/brat buns
--Light rye bread
--Maple oatmeal bread
--Pain aux noix
--Pizza crusts
--Sandwich buns
--Sesame thins
--Shortcakes
--Spelt bread
--Tea rings and pecan rings
--Whole wheat pita
--Zaatar flatbread

Starting Tuesday, the featured vegetable roll flavor of the week will be:

--Summer salsa, with tomatoes from Karen's Garden Delights, sweet corn from The People's Garden, onions from Adonai Acres, fresh cheddar curds from Blue Jacket Dairy, poblano peppers, and Southwestern spices. These reheat very well, so grab a couple and save one for lunch later in the week!

I'm hoping to make a new cake for the bakery case this week, so stay tuned!
