Happy New Year! Yes, 2012 seems to be starting off in wintry fashion. And what could be more comforting on a cold blustery day than a bowl of hot soup and some good wholesome bread?

--Garlic-herb bread
--Garlic pesto flatbread
--Garlic pita chips
--Honey spelt oat bread
--Maple oatmeal bread
--Pain aux noix
--Pizza crusts
--Pumpernickel bread
--Rosemary cider bread
--Sandwich buns
--Savory apple flatbread
--Sesame thins
--Spelt bread
--Tea rings and pecan rings

In the bakery case, you'll find:

My class on no-knead breads at Today's Kitchen Store, scheduled for this coming Saturday, is SOLD OUT! They do have a waiting list, and should there be enough interest, I can always repeat the class at a later date. There is, however, still room in my class on the 14th -- baking with wheat and spelt and learning the difference between the two -- so stop in at TKS and sign up!

Happy New Year!
