At Local Roots October 29-November 3

The outdoor farmers' market season ended with a chilly, rainy day, low traffic -- and good sales!  Thanks so much to all those faithful customers who stopped by to pick up bread and other baked goods for the week!

Here's what you'll find on my shelves at Local Roots Market this week -- look for some "new" items that debuted at the outdoor market:

--Apple strudel bread
--Artisan wheat bread
--Baguettes (Saturday ONLY)
--Basil pesto flatbread
--Cheese crackers (cheddar, pepper jack)
--Cinnamon-pecan bread
--Dill bread
--Garlic-herb bread
--NEW! Granola (cinnamon pecan)
--Honey spelt oat bread
--Maple oatmeal bread
--NEW! Multigrain bread
--Pain aux noix
--Pizza crusts
--Pumpernickel bread
--NEW! Pumpkin seed-sage bread
--Raisin-walnut bread
--Rosemary bread
--Rosemary cider bread
--Savory apple flatbread
--Sesame thins
--Spelt bread
--Tea rings and pecan rings
--NEW! Tortillas -- whole wheat definitely, possibly whole spelt as well
--100% Whole wheat artisan bread
--Whole wheat sandwich bread
--Zaatar flatbread

I am hoping to bring the following to the bakery case -- depending on how things turn out this week:

--Almond croissants (Saturday ONLY)
--Carrot spice muffins (with Indian spices and candied ginger)
--Chocolate croissants (Saturday ONLY)

My artisan bread class at TKS this coming Saturday is FULL!  But there's a good-sized waiting list, and we're trying to schedule a second session, so if you still want to give it a try, stop by TKS and let them know you're interested!
