At Local Roots October 17-22

Guess what's new? No, it's not a baked mummy, it's my new apple strudel bread, with a vegan spelt dough (enriched with maple syrup and sunflower oil) and a heavenly-spiced apple filling simmered with local cider and hickory syrup. Look for it at the market!

Here's what else you'll find on my shelves at Local Roots Market this week:

--Apple strudel bread
--Artisan wheat bread
--Basil pesto flatbread
--Cheese crackers (cheddar and pepper jack)
--Cheese-herb artisan bread: cheddar-dill, feta-oregano, gouda-sage, Miami-parsley
--Cinnamon-pecan bread
--Cinnamon pita chips
--Cornmeal bread
--Garlic-herb bread
--Garlic pesto flatbread
--Honey spelt oat bread
--Maple oatmeal bread
--Pain aux noix
--Pizza crusts
--Pumpernickel bread
--Rosemary cider bread
--Sandwich buns
--Savory apple flatbread
--Sesame thins
--Spelt bread
--Tea rings and pecan rings
--Whole wheat pita
--Whole wheat sandwich bread
--Zaatar flatbread

In the bakery case, you'll find cheddar-dill rolls with Blue Jacket Dairy dill cheddar curds to start the week -- not sure what will end up there later in the week, as I'm still pondering ideas.

Enjoy the fall!
