I'm still enjoying a partial vacation this week -- all this snow makes me want to curl up with a blanket, a book, and a pot of tea! But I hope to have a little more at Local Roots this week. Here's the plan so far:
--Apple strudel bread
--Artisan wheat bread
--Baguettes
--Cheese crackers (cheddar, garlic-herb, pepper jack)
--Cinnamon-pecan bread
--Cranberry-almond bread
--Garlic-herb bread--Granola (cinnamon pecan)
--Honey spelt oat bread
--Maple oatmeal bread
--Pain aux noix
--Pizza crusts
--Sesame thins--Spelt bread
--Tea rings and pecan rings
--Whole wheat sandwich bread--Zaatar flatbread
I also plan to have almond croissants back in the bakery case Saturday morning. I will try to have croissants -- usually almond, but sometimes chocolate -- on Saturdays, but my plan for this year is not to bake so much sweet stuff.
There's still a few spaces left for my biscuits and scones class at Today's Kitchen Store on January 12, and I'm lining up more classes for spring.
Happy New Year!
