At Local Roots September 6-10

It's a slightly shorter work week this week, thanks to the Labor Day holiday. Though I promise you, I did spend some time baking yesterday in order to start the Local Roots week with some full shelves!

Here's what you'll find on my shelves at Local Roots Market this week:

--Artisan wheat bread
--Basil pesto flatbread
--Cheese crackers (cheddar and pepper jack)
--Cheese-herb artisan bread: cheddar-basil, cheddar-dill, chèvre-rosemary, feta-oregano, gouda-sage
--Cinnamon-pecan bread
--Garlic-herb bread
--Garlic pesto flatbread
--Honey spelt oat bread
--Hot dog/brat buns
--Jalapeno-cheddar bread
--Light rye bread
--Maple oatmeal bread
--Pain aux noix
--Pizza crusts
--Sandwich buns
--Sesame thins
--Spelt bread
--Tea rings and pecan rings
--Whole wheat pita
--Zaatar flatbread

In the bakery case, I'll have cheese rolls -- garlic cheddar today and probably cheddar-basil later in the week -- and I plan to have almond croissants tomorrow or Thursday, just to tempt your sweet tooth.

The market is loaded with lots of colorful fresh produce right now, so be sure to stop at Local Roots for a wonderful taste of late summer!
