At Local Roots March 16-19

It's going to be a busy weekend at Local Roots -- Artisan Day, music, and a soil testing class. On top of that, I'll have more of my Celtic-themed breads on the shelf to continue the St. Patrick's Day celebration: soda bread, Irish cheddar soda bread, and Celtic knots.

And spring is almost here! All good reasons to get out and enjoy the weekend...

Here's what I'll have on my shelves at Local Roots this week:

--Baguettes
--Cheese-herb artisan bread: blue cheese-thyme, chèvre-rosemary, and feta-oregano
--Cinnamon-pecan bread
--Dried tomato flatbread
--Garlic-herb bread
--Homestyle rye bread
--Honey spelt oat bread
--Maple oatmeal bread
--Pain aux noix
--Pizza crusts
--Pumpernickel bread
--Sesame thins
--Spelt bread
--Zaatar flatbread

In the bakery case, you'll find two varieties of vegetable rolls:

--Coconut curry is back for the third week in a row, with more of that delicious baby pac choi from Breezy Hill Farm! Still vegan, still a great flavor combination!

--Pesto chèvre is back after a brief hiatus, combining Lucky Penny Creamery chèvre with homemade pesto (from homegrown basil) and dried tomatoes. Yum!

Come and get it -- at Local Roots!
